Manuel Rosenberg, MD Dr. Rosenberg attended Temple
University for his undergraduate degree in biology and then
Temple University School of Medicine to earn his Doctor of
Medicine (MD) degree. He became board-certified after completing his residency
at Reading Hospital and fellowship in Infectious Diseases
at Hahnemann University Hospital. Before coming to
Abington Memorial Hospital, Dr. Rosenberg practiced primary
care internal medicine for many years.
His interests lie in endeavoring to maintain a human touch in
the midst of great technological advances in medicine and
graduate medical education.

Baber Ghauri, MD, MBA
Born and raised in
Philadelphia, Baber was a biochemistry major at Philadelphia
University, this technology-fertile environment nurtured his fondness
of computer programming and information systems. Dr. Ghauri continued his medical training at Drexel
University School of Medicine at Hahnemann University Hospital, Medical
College of Pennsylvania Hospital and served a fourth year as Chief
Resident in Internal Medicine. These three, very diverse institutions represented every
major national theme in healthcare management and instilled a desire to
better understand the growing complexities of delivering leading-edge
medical care to patients. His selection as a Chief Resident afforded him
the opportunity to simultaneously matriculate with Drexel's LeBow
College of Business to earn an MBA degree in 2005.
Baber considers serving his patients and residents a privilege
and takes great pride in contributing in a team environment.
Baber owes much (if not all) of his success to his
wife, also a hospitalist (Cardiology Consultants
of Philadelphia) and they have two children born in 2003 and 2005.
Ellie Weber
Ellie uses her
diverse experiences as a licensed practical nurse and
administrative assistant chiefly to coordinate care and
information between the hospitalists and primary care physicians.
She also manages daily operations of the practice.
A Philadelphia
native, Ellie has been married for nearly 20 years and she and
her husband live with their dog, Dutchess. Ellie is an active
member of her local volunteer fire company where she serves as a
Treasurer and coordinates various fund-raising activities.
Her attention-to-detail, professionalism, and culinary expertise
motivate the team to perform at their peak.
